Make it Real

Next Steps

Conceptualizing the idea might not always be simple, but is important to keep in mind our main specifications that we established in the beginning. Although this is a small project , there is always a way to run out of the scope. Now that we established our specifications in the beginning and find out our unknowns for this design all that is left is validation and more math. There will always be room for improvement , but our goal is to see if our design is going to last and will able to to the job. Sure it will not look pretty and ergonomic , but this will show only the first iteration of the design. In any design multiple iterations are often needed in order to arrive to the final product.

The following content will focus on each component based on :

  • Free Body Diagram

  • Shear/Moment Diagram

  • Stress analysis

  • Principal stresses and Von Mises stress

  • Fatigue analysis

With these steps we will be able to take our design
